Motion Video

Motion

[chorus]

If an object changes its position,

then a motion has occurred.

If it continuously changes its position,

then it’s in motion, then it’s in motion.

[verse]

Use a car as an example, and the car is parked at the curb.

Now, you move the car up 10 feet, then a motion has occurred.

Now, if you take the same parked car and put it on the highway,

then start coasting.

Its position is constantly changing.

Then, it’s in motion, then it’s in motion.

[chorus]

If an object changes its position,

then a motion has occurred.

If it continuously changes its position,

then it’s in motion, then it’s in motion.

If an object changes its position,

then a motion has occurred.

If it continuously changes its position,

then it’s in motion, then it’s in motion

the sun only lights up half of the earth at a time.

The side with the light is daytime.

The other side is dark, that’s nighttime.

As the earth spins, daytime shifts to the other side.

As the earth spins, nighttime shifts to the other side.

Metamorphosis Video

Metamorphosis

(chorus)

Metamorphosis is the process

an animal takes when it changes shapes.

Metamorphosis is the process

an animal takes when it changes shapes.

(verse)

Let’s look at a frog when it’s born,

the eggs hatch and the tadpole comes on.

The tadpoles live in the pond

with a tail, no legs, no arms.

Then after a while the legs start to form.

The tail starts to shrink till it’s all gone.

The eyes bulge out the lungs finish developing.

Now living on land, the frog is here.

(chorus)

Metamorphosis is the process

an animal takes when it changes shapes.

Inherited

[chorus]

When animals are born,

there are a lot of different features that they will take on

Some are inherited, some are inherited.

when plants are born,

there are a lot of different features that they will take on

Some are inherited, some are inherited.

[verse]

Now animals can inherit some features from their parents

like, the color of their hair or the color of their eyes.

Animals can inherit some features from their parents

like, the completion of their skin or even their height.

Plants too, can inherit from their parents

their color, their size, and shape.

When genes are passed down from your parents

different features you take.

Gravity Video

Gravity

(chorus)

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Asteroids, comets, and dust particles all go around the sun.

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Asteroids, comets, and dust particles all go around the sun,

because gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity,

because

(verse 1)

Everything is made up of matter.

The amount of matter is called mass.

Now some objects have great mass than others.

Some objects have little.

In space objects with greater mass

pull other objects together, together.

(chorus)

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Asteroids, comets, and dust particles all go around the sun.

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Asteroids, comets, and dust particles all go around the sun,

because gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity,

because

(verse 2)

Without gravity everything on earth

will go floating in the air.

Gravity pulling us towards earth’s center

keeps us here, keeps us here.

So, when you jump up, you go back down.

Throw a ball up and it comes right down.

That’s gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity, gravity,

because

(chorus)

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Asteroids, comets, and dust particles all go around the sun.

Earth is one of nine planets that go around the sun.

Sun to Pluto Video

Sun to pluto

(chorus)

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

(verse 1)

First stop is the Sun, some people call it Sol.

It provides energy for the life we know.

Next stop is Mercury, very little gravity.

First planet from the sun, spins very slowly.

Next stop:

Second planet from the sun, it’s Venus.

Hostile, thick clouds make Venus the meanest.

Next stop:

Third planet from the sun, yes, Earth.

It’s 70 percent water with one moon called Luna.

Next stop:

Fourth planet from the sun, its Mars.

Scientists believed it once had lakes and oceans.

Next stop is Jupiter, gravity will pull on you.

Add a hundred pounds to the weight on Jupiter.

(chorus)

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

(verse 2)

Next stop is Saturn, see the ring pattern.

Saturn has more moons than any other planet.

Next stop is Uranus, a planet very old.

22 moons, identical to Neptune.

Next stop is Neptune with 13 moons,

so far, that’s all we know of.

Next stop is Pluto with a new status.

Scientists now say Pluto is not a planet.

(chorus)

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

We will start from the sun, then we’ll travel to the planets

one by one, one by one.

Liquids, take the shape of its container.

Liquids, take the shape of its container.

Particles are spread out a little, sliding past each other.

In gases, the shape will change with its container.

In gases, the volume will change with its container.

Particles are spread out and move very quickly.

Now a quarter moons a half moon

You see a half moons a quarter moon, quarter moons a half moon

They call a half moon a quarter moon, word

Sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic

(verse)

Sedimentary rocks are formed in layers, formed in layers

Sedimentary rocks are found near water,

some have fossils and found near water

Igneous rocks were here since the beginning

Igneous rocks hot, lava cooled and hardened

When you transform sedimentary and igneous rocks

with pressure, they make metamorphic Rocks

When you transform sedimentary and igneous rocks

with heat, they make metamorphic rocks

and it will change light energy into electrical energy,

and a TV changes electrical energy into light energy,

and a TV changes electrical energy into sound energy.

Let’s see what kind of energy makes a car move.

There’s chemical energy inside the fuel,

and it turns into thermal and mechanical energy,

The batteries in a flashlight have chemical energy,

and when it’s turned on, what do you see? You see the light energy.

Now, plain old wood has potential chemical energy.

Put fire to it and it turns into thermal energy for cooking and heat.

Water Cycle Video

Water cycle

[chorus]

It’s a circle, a circle, yup, a circle.

The water cycle goes in a circle.

Starts with evaporation.

Rise to precipitation.

Drops back down in the form of snow, sleet, or rain

[verse]

Water is one of the reasons why there’s life on earth.

Water covers 75 percent of the earth.

The equator is an imaginary line

that divides the earth into two sides.

Halfway between the north and south pole, yeah,

the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere.

Now the water on earth goes in a cycle.

What a coincidence it’s called the water cycle.

Heat from the sun causes water from the lakes,

oceans and rivers to evaporate.

That evaporated water rises till it cools

then condenses into droplets or ice crystals.

Forming a cloud, the cloud lets the water back out

to the ground, rivers, and ponds

In the oceans and into the lakes

and starts all over when the water evaporates

[chorus]

It’s a circle, a circle, yup, a circle.

The water cycle goes in a circle.

Starts with evaporation.

Rise to precipitation.

Drops back down in the form of snow, sleet, or rain
